Vita is a French national, born in Sicily, who has made the UK her home for the past 30 years. After travelling extensively and working in Europe, the Middle-East and Asia, she settled in Bristol. For over a decade, she managed several language departments at the University of Bristol Language Centre. She subsequently moved to the position of Course Director of the Foreign Languages Centre at the University of Bath. She then converted to Law as a mature student and qualified as a barrister in 2009. She decided to work in the charity sector championing the rights of disabled and vulnerable adults. To date, the majority of her advocacy work centres on discrimination and human rights cases. She is currently actively involved in advocating on behalf of EU citizens living in the UK.
