We are recruiting an Employment Advisor/Caseworker to join our established Employment and Discrimination team
Do you have a working knowledge of employment law? Experience of giving advice or support over the phone? Passionate about helping those most in need?
We have an opportunity for someone to work 18-21 hours per week as the primary first contact point for people calling our unique employment advice line (currently runs for 4 hours per week). You will deliver independent, free advice over the phone; and follow up calls with emails, research and potentially taking on cases. You will be part of Bristol Law Centre’s team of social welfare law experts working to deliver access to justice, with a focus on those in low paid work and those who may be experiencing discrimination. The specific days you would work each work are negotiable. Due to funding, the current term of employment is for 6 months from 25/1/21 but subject to future funding could be extended.
Salary £26,736 (pro rata) + benefits package
