Bristol Law Centre is a charity providing free legal advice in specialist areas of social welfare law, and also represents clients in court.

We are seeking an experienced Housing Caseworker/Solicitor with a proven track record in income generation under a LAA contract to lead our dedicated and friendly team in our city centre office.

You will part of a friendly and growing Law Centre team seeking to continue to meet demand and serve clients in Bristol and neighbouring areas. Your caseload would be a varied mix of housing matters including possession claims, warrants of eviction, succession , disrepair, injunctions, unlawful eviction and homelessness.

Bristol Law Centre holds a legal aid contract for the housing possession duty scheme at Bristol County Court and Bath County Court on a shared rota basis, and you would provide advocacy on the County Court duty advice schemes.

This is an opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive team in a vibrant, artistic, historic and diverse city; surrounded by beautiful countryside at the gateway to Wales and the South-West. Our modern offices are situated close to Bristol Temple Meads station and the city centre, and we are open to discussing a blend of home and office working.

Starting salary: £35,527
