Immigration & Asylum Caseworker / Solicitor 

Hours: 21-35 per week (based on 7 hour working days)

Responsible To: Immigration & Asylum Solicitor (Team Leader)

Salary: £30k-38k depending on experience and accreditation (pro rata if less than 35 hours)

Bristol Law Centre is seeking to expand its Immigration & Asylum team and is looking for a senior caseworker or solicitor to work both on grant funded projects and work taken on under our legal aid contract. Your caseload would be a varied mix of asylum and protection cases, family and private life work, EUSS, nationality and citizenship and work for survivors of domestic violence and trafficking. You will be representing longer-term residents, new arrivals to Bristol, including those under resettlement projects and particularly, children and young people as they navigate the asylum and immigration system.

This is an opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive Law Centre team in a vibrant, artistic, historic and diverse city; surrounded by beautiful countryside at the gateway to Wales and the South-West. Our modern offices are situated close to Temple Mead station and the city centre, and we are open to discussing a blend of home and office working.

You will be part of a growing team seeking to continue to meet demand and serve our clients in Bristol and neighbouring areas, as well as working on  projects to expand access to immigration advice throughout the South-West region.
