I originally decided to volunteer at Bristol Law Centre as I had heard about all the great work they do and wanted to be involved in helping to make a difference in the community. I felt a great sense of achievement knowing I was contributing to this and helping to change the lives of many people.

Volunteering has allowed me to gain real life experience working at a law centre and being involved in the day-to-day running of the organisation. I am able to see first-hand the tasks and duties that are performed by experienced solicitors and legal personals in order to meet the needs of each client and make a positive impact in their lives.

Personally, I have been very fortunate for this opportunity as the experience I’ve had whilst volunteering at ABLC is invaluable. The skills that I have developed and the knowledge I have gained will no doubt be very useful in my future career. ABLC is an amazing organisation, everyone is so friendly and helpful; you can really see the passion they all have for their jobs!
