Bristol Law Centre (BLC) is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to be Chair of its Board of Trustees (link to role description Chair of Board of the Trustees)

BLC is an award-winning organisation that provides access to justice to those whose needs are the greatest.  BLC’s mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged people in Bristol and across the South West.  Each year BLC gives free legal advice, casework and representation to over 1,500 people suffering homelessness, discrimination, family upheaval, and benefits withdrawal.  BLC is staffed by skilled, committed and passionate individuals who continue to make a real difference to the most vulnerable in their local community and beyond.

This year that dedication was recognised by the “Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year Awards” where BLC won the Not for Profit Agency of the Year award (LALY Awards – LAPG)
