Mike Norman, Housing Solicitor and valued Law Centre team member was a finalist in the LAPG Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year Awards last night (LALYs). These are the most prestigious awards of their kind, and the virtual ceremony was a gathering of people who truly change lives in the work they do.
In reaching the shortlist Mike was recognised for his “remarkable and exceptional commitment”, passion and dedication, and for always going the extra mile for clients. Testimonials also mentioned his great legal mind and true expertise in Housing Law (English and Welsh law).
Mike has recently received client feedback for cases completed during lockdown “your diligence, empathy and sensitivity has been second to none”.
While working a full case load Mike has also written 4 guides to housing law & Covid, available freely to other advisors. He is always generous with his knowledge, humble and a great team player – we are extremely proud of his achievement and know it will be the first of many.
